A programme of art, culture and new infrastructure to reimagine the future of the UK’s biggest council housing estate
Becontree 100 is a major arts and music festival taking place in Parsloes Park during the Summer of Festivals season, produced in collaboration with Love Music Hate Racism and local cultural partners in the borough. The focus of the festival is to promote unity through the power of music with the simple message: there is more that unites us than divides us. Becontree 100 will also feature a showground of community exhibitions, international food stalls, a vintage tearoom, a village sports arenas, a craft fair, and so much more.

This event will take place subject to Covid-19 and following the current government guidelines. This is a free event and is not ticketed.

Parsloes Park
Love Music Hate Racism uses the energy of the music scene to celebrate diversity and promote anti-racism in the tradition of the Rock Against Racism (RAR) movement of the late 1970s. Since 2002, Love Music Hate Racism has produced hundreds of events including large outdoor festivals, local club nights, and educational workshops across the UK. They empower groups and individuals to play an active role in their own communities and have organised grassroots anti-racism initiatives.
